BSMMU (Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University) MD MS Residency Program (for foreign students) admission circular for March 2024 academic session will be open soon. Application process will get underway from September. And the deadline for submission of application will be mid-October, 2024.
Interested foreign doctors need to apply in prescribed form which they can collect from the university website (www.bsmmu.edu.bd).
Besides, they can also collect Application Form from the Office of Controller of Exams, BSMMU (Room: 105 (first floor), Block-B).
BSMMU MD MS Residency Program Admission Eligibility :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- MBBS/BDS or equivalent degree approved or recognized by the respective medical and dental council.
- Two years since passing of MBBS/BDS or equivalent degree along with completion of one year internship as on or before October 5, 2023.
- Permanent Registration Certificate issued from the Medical and or Dental Council of applicants’ respective countries, which is approved by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).
- Individual band score of minimum 6 in IELTS Exam or TOEFL score of 46 to 59.
- Age being maximum 45 years as on or before October 5, 2023.

BSMMU MD MS Residency Program Admission Process :
As part of the admission process, aspirants first need to pay the application fee which is USD 200 (non-refundable).
The period for the payment is September 3 to October 4, 2023.
Then they need to properly fill up the form and submit it along with payment receipt and other necessary documents at the following address :
Office of Controller of Exams, Room: 105 (first floor), Block-B, BSMMU, Shahbag, Dhaka-1000.
Again note that the deadline for application submission is October 5, 2023 till 2:30 pm.
