BOU (Bangladesh Open University) Master in Sustainable Agriculture & Rural Livelihood (MSARL) program (first semester) admission circular for year 2024 (July-December) is open. Online application process begins from May 8 and ends on June 23, 2024.
The MSARL program is a two year-long professional program under School of Agriculture and Rural Development (SARD) at the university.
The program has four semesters in total with tuition fee for each semester Tk. 10,425. However, for third gender applicants, there is a waiver of 60 percent on tuition fee.
BOU MSARL Program Admission Requirements :
Aspirants will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- Bachelor degree (BAgEd) in agriculture studies or Bachelor degree in science field.

Application Fee :
The fee for application is Tk.1000 which applicants can pay by following guidelines available on the link.
Admission Test :
The test will take place at two campuses–BOU, Gazipur Campus and Hajii Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur. At Gazipur campus, the test will be held at 10 am on July 5, 2024 while at HSTU campus it is at 10 am July 12, 2024.
The test is expected to be held at 10 am on July 7, 2024 at School of Agriculture and Rural Development, Gazipur campus of the university.
The admission test will have 50 marks in total, dividing into two parts–30 for viva exam and 20 for bachelor level results.
The list of successful candidates for admission into the program is likely to be available on February 4 on the university website.
