Applications Now Open For Australia Awards Scholarships 2022

Applications for the 2022 Intake are now open for Australia Awards Scholarships conducted by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The last date to apply is this April 30.

The scholarships provide opportunities for individuals from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.

Australia Awards Scholarships is a full bright one meaning it offers full tuition fees, return air travel, establishment allowance, Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE), etc.

Who Are Eligible To Apply : Students from the following countries or territories are eligible to take part in the scholarship program :

Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Palestinian Territories.

Note : Applicants who want to accept an Australia Awards Scholarships will need to sign a contract with the Commonwealth of Australia declaring that they will comply with the conditions of the scholarship.

Scholars are required to leave Australia for a minimum of two years after completing their scholarship. Failure to do so will result in the scholar incurring a debt for the total accrued cost of their scholarship.
