The ministry of Finance, government of Bangladesh opens a job circular to fill some 48 posts including Computer Operator, Data Entry/Control Operator etc. Online application process begins from April 17 and ends on May 16, 2024.
Finance Ministry Vacancy 2024 In Details :
As per the circular, the ministry authority will recruit people to the following posts under six categories :
- Computer Operator (Grade 13, 8 posts) 2. Short-hand Typist cum Computer Operator (Grade 13, 13 posts) 3. Office Assistant cum Computer Typist (Grade 16, 14 posts) 4. Data Entry/Control Operator (Grade 16, 1 post) 5. Office Assistant cum Computer Typist (Accounts Cell, Grade 16, 2 posts) and 6. Office Assistant (Grade 20, 10 posts).
Finance Ministry Job Requirements :
Aspirants will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application against their post of choice :
Computer Operator :
Bachelor honors or equivalent degree obtained from any recognized university with typing speed per minute 25 words in Bangla and 30 words in English. Besides, aspirants will have to pass Standard Aptitude Test in related subject.
Data Entry/Control Operator :
HSC or equivalent exam pass under any known education board with computer typing speed must be 20 words in both Bangla & English per minute.
Office Sahayak :
SSC or equivalent level pass under any recognized education board.
Office Assistant cum Computer Typist :
HSC or equivalent exam pass under any known education board with computer typing speed must be minimum 20 words in both Bangla & English per minute.
In addition, have to have skills & experiences in handling of email and fax including word processing.

Residents from the Districts of Dhaka, Manikganj, Mymensingh, Chattogram, Bandarban, Cox’s Bazar, Chandpur, Cumilla, Khagrachhari, Noakhali, Rangamati, Rajshahi, Joypurhat, Sirajganj, Nilphamari, Jhenaidah, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Bhola, Pirojpur, Sylhet & Moulbhibazar are eligible to apply for this post.
However, residents from all districts are eligible for application under the orphan and disabled quotas.
Age Requirements :
Aspirants’ age will need to be in between 18 to 30 years as on March 1, 2024, applicable to all posts. However, for those related to freedom fighter/martyred freedom fighter and the disabled, age can be up to 32 years to the maximum.
