As per the latest circular, the Islami Bank Bangladesh authority will recruit people for the following senior positions :
- Additional Managing Director 2. Deputy Managing Director 3. Senior Executive Vice President 4. Executive Vice President 5. Senior Vice President 6. Senior Vice President/Vice President (Public Relations Officer) 7. Vice President 8. Senior Assistant Vice President 9. Assistant Vice President 10. First Assistant Vice President 11. Senior Principal Officer 12. Principal Officer.
Job Requirements For Senior Level Positions :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions to be eligible for application against their position of choice :
Additional Managing Director Post :
Minimum 21 years of experiences as officer with any reputed commercial bank with at least two (2) years in the role of DMD or equivalence. Plus age maximum 64 years as on May 31, 2023.
Deputy Managing Director Post :
Minimum 20 years of experiences as officer with any reputed commercial bank with at least two (2) years in the role of SEVP or equivalence. And age maximum 63 years as on May 31, 2023.

Senior Assistant Vice President Post :
Minimum 13 years of experiences as officer with any reputed commercial bank with at least two (2) years in the role of AVP or equivalence. And age maximum 45 years as on May 31, 2023.
Assistant Vice President Post :
Minimum 12 years of experiences as officer with any reputed commercial bank with at least two (2) years in the role of FAVP or equivalence. And age maximum 45 years as on May 31, 2023.
First Assistant Vice President Post :
Minimum 10 years of experiences as officer with any reputed commercial bank with at least two (2) years in the role of Senior Principal Officer or equivalence. And age maximum 42 years as on May 31, 2023.
Senior Principal Officer Post :
Minimum 8 years of experiences as officer with any reputed commercial bank with at least two (2) years in the role of Principal Officer or equivalence. And age maximum 42 years as on May 31, 2023.
Principal Officer Post :
Minimum 6 years of experiences as officer with any reputed commercial bank with at least two (2) years in the role of Senior Officer or equivalence. And age maximum 40 years as on May 31, 2023.
Common Qualifications, Applicable to All Positions :
Minimum Masters/equivalence/four-year graduation with strong academic background from any known university or institute. Those with third class or division or grade at any level of education is not ineligible for application.
However, the above qualification is not applicable to the post of Excluding Senior Vice President/Vice President (Public Relations Officer).
Islami Bank Bangladesh (PLC) Selection Process :
Aspirants need to go through the following selection process :
- After in-house primary selection process, the authority will make a short list of eligible candidates and call them to appear for a written test/viva exam.
- The authority will make all communications with candidates through SMS/email all along the selection process.
- The authority will provide no TA/DA to candidates for turning up in written and viva exams.

Attention : Below Text Relates To A Separate Islami Bank Bangladesh Job Circular For The Position Of Probationary Officer :
Islami Bank Probationary Officer Job Requirements :
Aspirants need to hold the following qualifications, among others, to be eligible for apply for Probationary Officer position :
- Minimum Master’s/MBA/MBM or equivalent degree with 4 year honors from any public or private university.
- Having 1st class/Division in all academic exams with GPA at least 4.00 out of 5.00 in both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations.
Having CGPA at least 3.00 out of 4.00 or 3.75 out of 5.00 in honors or Master’s exams. - Age being min 22 years as on March 30, 2023 and maximum 30 years as of March 25, 2020 as per Bangladesh Bank BRPD Circular Letter N0 43 dated back November 2, 2022.
- Original certificates of SSC or equivalent shall have to be put in as the proof of age and no affidavit to this end will be accepted.
- Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English and Bangla.
- Willingness to work anywhere in the country.
- Having a valid email address and mobile number.
- Those who already received certificates in favor of required academic qualifications are only eligible to apply, meaning no appeared certificate will be valid.
What is the salary of Islami Bank Probationary Officer?
Selected candidates for the Probationary Officer post will receive the following monthly benefits :
1. For the probationary period of one year, the monthly consolidated salary will be Tk. 48,400.
2. After successful completion of one year probation period, the per month salary in total will be Tk. 59,500 only.
That’s the current new salary structure that Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) currently offers for its employees at initial level.
Remember, finally selected candidates for the role of ‘Probationary Officer’ will have to provide ‘Surety Bond’ to serve the bank for a minimum period of five (5) years from the date of joining.
