BOU (Bangladesh Open University) SSC Program (Open & Distant Learning) admission circular for year 2024-25 is open. Online application process has begun from January 20 with deadline March 20, 2024.
Run by Open School at the BOU, the SSC program is available in Humanities, Business Studies and Science group. Aspiring students must apply online for admission into the program.

As mentioned earlier, SSC program admission process has begun from January 20. And the last time to apply is March 20, 2024.
Application Fee :
The fee for application for SSC program is Tk.100 which applicants can pay by either bkash or DBBL Rocket.
BOU SSC Program Admission Requirement :
Interested students need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- JSC/JDC/Class 8 or equivalent exam pass. Or
- Those having no JSC/JDC/Class 8 or equivalent certificates are also eligible for application. In that case, they have to meet the following conditions : i. age being minimum 14 years as on December 31, 2022. ii. Have to sit for an admission test to prove their qualifications.
Special Attention : In case of Class eight (8) pass, applicant’s name, names of father’s & mother’s and birth date must be as per the certificate/NID/online birth registration. For students with JSC/JDC pass, those information must be as per their JSC/JDC Certificates. And for other cases, they must be according to their NIDs or online birth registration.

BOU SSC Program Admission Fees :
Admission seekers need to pay the following fees for admission into the SSC Program for year 2023-24 :
Online application fee Tk.100; registration fee Tk.150; Course fee (given per course Tk.525) 3,675; ICT Practical fee (compulsory) Tk.100; Academic calendar fee Tk.50; Digital/Plastic ID Card fee Tk.200; Exam fee (per course Tk.50) Tk.350 and first year mark-sheet fee Tk.70, totaling Tk.4695.
For science group students, additional Tk.200 needs to be paid for two practical courses.
N.B : Third gender students will receive a 60 percent waiver on course fee!
