The number of deaths from the novel coronavirus in the USA is now about 120k as White House trade adviser Peter Navarro said that the Trump administration is taking preparation for the possible second wave of the virus expected to hit the country in the fall.
As per tally from Johns Hopkins University, the death toll from the virus in the country is at least 119,854 while the cases now are at least 2,268,093 at the end of Saturday. The country recorded further 33,701 cases and 607 deaths on the day alone.

Meantime, White House trade adviser Peter Navarro told CNN said the Trump administration is preparing for the possibility that a second wave of Covid-19 could hit the US in the fall.
Regarding the possibility of a second wave, the adviser said, ‘the administration is filling the stockpile in anticipation of a possible problem in the fall. We are doing everything we can beneath the surface, working as hard as we possibly can.’ ‘You prepare for what can possibly happen. I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but of course you prepare’.
Internationally the novel coronavirus has infected more than 8.8 million people including nearly 465,475 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
