Bangladesh Shishu Academy issues circular inviting applications for Bridge Kids Programs scheduled to take place in Fukuoka, Japan from July 12 to 23, 2024.
The authority invites applications from Bangladeshi children to be representatives of a cultural team from the country.
Eligibility For Bridge Kids Programs 2024 :
Aspiring children must meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- Birth date must be in between August 1, 2012 to July 31, 2013.
- Being skilled in dance and music.
- Being fit both in physically and mentally.
- Those with ham, asthma and allergy are not eligible for application.
- Must be Covid-19 vaccine recipients meaning aspirants must have covid-19 vaccination certificate.
- Passport validity must be till January, 2025.

Bridge Kids Programs Application Process :
Interested kids or their parents (on behalf of their kids) must apply in prescribed form which they can collect from Cultural Dept. of District/Upazilla/Central Office of Bangladesh Shishu Academy
Or they can download it from this website : www.shishuacademy.gov.bd
Then they will require to fill up the form properly and submit it either by post or in-person to the following address :
Anjir Liton, Director General, Bangladesh Shishu Academy, Dhaka.
Documents To Attach with Application Form :
Applicants need to attach the following documents with application form :
- Attested photocopy of birth certificate.
- Certificate or testimonial in proof applicant’s current class and age, issued from the Head Master or Principal of respective educational institution.
- Attested photocopy of certificates related to other skills or qualities.
- Attested photocopy of passport and two copies of passport size photograph.

Bridge Kids Programs Selection Process :
First the authority will make a shortlist out of all applications. The kids on the short-list will go through audition/interview session.
Finally, the authority will select two boys and two girls to represent Bangladesh at the Bridge Kids Programs 2024 in Fukuoka, Japan.
