Sylhet Medical University (SMU) issues a circular asking application from qualified individuals to fill up four posts. The last date to make application in given form is this July 25, 2021.

Urgent Note : Interested individuals can collect application forms from the Office of the Registrar at the university till July 19 due to the holiday for Eid-ul-Azha. Please see the latest notification issued on July 10 from the authority in the below image :

Vacant Positions : The four positions to which recruitment will be made are the followings :

1. Assistant Registrar (no. of post 1) 2. Assistant Exam Controller (no. of post 1) 3. Accounts Officer (no. of post 1) and 4. Deputy Assistant Engineer (no. of post 1).
   

Requirements : Aspirants need to meet the following credentials, among others, to be eligible for application :

For Assistant Registrar Post : Age needs to be minimum 37 years as on the last date of application (July 25, 2021). For all other information, interested persons need to contact the university temporary campus situated at Chowhatta, Sylhet-3100, Bangladesh.

For Assistant Exam Controller Post : Age needs to be minimum 37 years as on the last date of application (July 25, 2021). For all other information, interested persons need to contact the university temporary campus situated at Chowhatta, Sylhet-3100, Bangladesh.

For Accounts Officer Post : Age needs to be minimum 30 years as on the last date of application submission (July 25, 2021). For all other information, interested persons need to contact the university temporary campus situated at Chowhatta, Sylhet-3100, Bangladesh.

For Deputy Assistant Engineer Post : Age needs to be minimum 30 years as on the last date of application submission (July 25, 2021). For all other information, interested persons need to contact the university temporary campus situated at Chowhatta, Sylhet-3100, Bangladesh.

Application Process : Interested individuals need to make application in prescribed form which can be collected from the campus of the Sylhet Medical University (SMU) for a cash deposit of Tk.100 only.

Then filled in application form needs to be submitted along with three copies of attested color passport size photographs, attested copies of all academic certificates, NID Cards, copies of Birth Certificate and other sought papers. To note, each applicant needs to submit eight (8) sets of application in total.

Application Fee : The fee for application for posts under serial no. 1 to 2 is Tk. 800 while it is Tk. 600 for the posts under serial number 3 to 4. To note, the fee must be submitted as Bank Draft or Pay Order with Janata Bank Amborkhana Branch in favor of ‘Registrar, Sylhet Medical College’.

Application Period : Application process get underway from this July 8, 2021. The last time & date to submit application by Post/Courier Service or In-person are 2:30 p.m. on July 25, 2021 (on any working days from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. over the period.
