SPARRSO Research Fellowship 2023 : Application Deadline April 10

SPARRSO Research Fellowship 2023 circular is now open with deadline to apply online is April 10, 2023.

The fellowship is available in two categories—1. Junior Research Fellow and 2. Research Associate.

SPARRSO Full Form :

SPARRSO stands for Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization. The agency invites application for its research fellowship for finance year 2023-24 from Bangladeshi citizens.

SPARRSO Research Fellowship 2023 Details :

As mentioned earlier, the fellowship will be provided in two categories against the following requirements :

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : Applicants must be in undergraduate level study with age being minimum 18 years old as on the last date of application submission. The tenure of the fellowship is maximum 12 months.

For Research Associate : Applicants must be graduate with two years of research experience.

In case of male applicants, age needs to be at least 24 years while it is 23 years for females as on the last date of application submission. The tenure of the fellowship is the same as JRF, maximum 12 months.

Interested persons must apply using ‘Google Form Link’ available in Notice Board tab at the following website :

www.sparrso.gov.bd

1. Recommendation Letter from teacher or professional who have knowledge about the skills of applicant.
2. Applicants in the category of Research Associate must attach experience certificate to their application.

Selected candidates will be able to do research in the following subject fields under the fellowship 2023-24 :

2. Blue Economy (Coastal and Marine Resources, potential fishing zone etc.)
3. Water Resources
4. Food Security
5. Environmental Studies.

7. Space Science, Technology and Policy.
