The death toll in Spain from the novel coronavirus has crossed 15k mark on April 9, according to data from the country’s Health Ministry. As per the latest data, there are now at least 15,238 deaths in the country with 683 deaths in the past 24 hours to the day.
According to the health ministry’s data, the number of active cases in the country is now at least 85,043, up from 84,111 from Wednesday’s numbers.

The Spanish Health Ministry also reports that 52,165 people have now recovered from the virus – 4,144 more than the number reported Wednesday.
