Schools & Colleges Likely To Reopen May 23

All schools and colleges in Bangladesh are likely to reopen on May 23, announces Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni on March 25.

The announcement in a press statement followed a meeting with National Technical Advisory Committee on Coronavirus the same day.

The statement however said that online classes would continue during the shutdowns of educational institutions.

The government on February 27 announced that in person classes at all secondary schools and colleges would resume on March 30.

But in fact this has not happened due to what the authorities said the pandemic situation existing in the country now.

All educational institutions including schools, colleges and universities but except Madrasas have remained shut in the country since March 17 last year due to the pandemic.
