A SARSO (South Asian Regional Standards Organization) job circular 2021 is now open to fill up three (3) vacant posts. The deadline to apply is this December 20.

Only Bangladeshi citizens fulfilling requirements will be eligible to apply for the vacant posts.

Vacancy in Details : The posts in which the authority will make the recruitment in line with SARSO Job Circular 2021 are the followings :

1. Senior Finance Officer (GSS-I) 2. MIS Officer (GSS-I) and 3. Office Assistant (GSS-II).

SARSO Job Requirements :

Interested persons need to meet the following prerequisites, among others, to be eligible for application :

For Senior Finance Officer Post : Having M. Com or MBA with at least eight (8) years of relevant experiences in line with the job requirements.

Besides, have to be competent to handle financial matters independently using computer software such as budgetary control, fund release; maintain accounts and finance in Tally Software, desk monitoring and audit.

In addition, having experience in financial management of foreign/donor agency and large government enterprise will add values to candidacy. In case of age requirements, it is maximum 35 years as on December 20, 2021.

For MIS Officer Post : MS/MSc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical & Electronics with at least eight (8) years of experience in system design, programming, installation, operation, maintenance of data base system, LAN, WAN, and website management in programs. Besides, having knowledge in Apache Server, PHP, ASP, NET, MySQL, CSS/HTML etc. will have added values to candidacy.

In case of age condition, it is 35 years to the highest as on December 20, 2021.

For Office Assistant Post : Having Graduation with at least five (5) years relevant work experiences and good speed in typing.

Besides, have to be skilled and able to prepare official correspondences/documents independently. In case of age condition, it is 35 years to the highest as on December 20, 2021.

Salary & Allowances : Finally selected candidates will receive the following benefits for their services :

As Senior Finance Officer : Will get a pay scale of $US 241 along with House Rent Allowance of 50% of basic pay, Conveyance Allowance of $US 50, Medical Allowance of $US 50, Children Education Assistance as per the existing rule, Festival Allowance of one month basic pay per annum among others.

As MIS Officer : There is a pay scale of $US 241 along with House Rent Allowance of 50% of basic pay, Conveyance Allowance of $US 50, Medical Allowance of $US 50, Children Education Assistance as per the existing rule, Festival Allowance of one month basic pay per annum among others.

As Office Assistant : One will receive a pay scale of $US 185 along with House Rent Allowance of 50% of basic pay, Conveyance Allowance of $US 40, Medical Allowance of $US 40, Children Education Assistance as per the existing rule, Festival Allowance of one month basic pay per annum among others.

SARSO Job Application Process :

Interested individuals must apply in English language along with complete Curriculum Vitae (CV) with name (applicant’s), father’s name, present & permanent address, date of birth, nationality, qualifications, experiences with all supporting documents.

Applicants must clearly mention the post one applied for. One must forward his or her application by e-mail to the following destination, addressing Director General, SARSO Secretariat : [email protected] and [email protected]. To note, one copy of application must be sent by email to the SAARC Secretariat, Kathmandu at [email protected].

Along with application, applicants will have to attach two copies of recent passport size photographs and character certificate from first class gazetted officer. Only short-listed candidates will be called up for test/interview.

The authority will confirm any appointment, initially on a three year contractual basis, based on satisfactory Police Verification Report. Most importantly, age and qualification requirements may get relaxation in case of highly experiences candidates from government/semi-government/autonomous organizations.
