President Donald Trump, infected by the novel coronavirus, left the hospital and got back to the White House on October 5 night local time even though he’s not been entirely out of the woods yet as per his doctor.

This development is exactly in line with the President’s tweet and the words expressed by the doctor at the press briefing held earlier in the afternoon on the day.

Within one hour of getting back to the official residence,  President Trump said in a campaign video, ‘we’re going back. We’re going back to work. We’re gonna be out front. As your leader I had to do that. I knew there’s danger to it but I had to do it’, seemingly depicting self as a warrior who took on the virus and won.

In the video, the President further said, ‘I stood out front. I led. Nobody that’s a leader would not do what I did. I know there’s a risk, there’s a danger.’

Earlier on the day, Trump’s physician told reporters at the latest media briefing that the President had exceeded the hospital discharge criteria, adding he’s not had a fever for more than 72 hours.

President Trump got admitted to the hospital on October 2 evening local time following his positive diagnosis of the novel coronavirus which claimed lives of about 210k people in the USA alone now.

Earlier on October 5, CNN reports citing a close source that the President is getting impatient to leave the hospital and wanting to return back to the White House despite warning from the attending doctors for possible dangers to his health.

‘The President, who is receiving treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, is saying, ‘’I need to get out of here,’’ the source familiar with the President’s phone calls tells the media outlet.

But in reply to the President’s desire for getting back to his official residence, the doctors warned that if he rushes to leave the hospital and then has any problem, it would be really bad for him — not just health wise, but also for his campaign, added the source.

Overall, President Trump is sounding very upbeat and healthy on the phone, says the same source.

On October 4 morning local time, President Trump’s physician Dr. Sean Conley told journalists at a press briefing that the President could get discharged from the hospital as soon as October 5.

Trump’s doctor added that the President’s condition ‘had continued to improve.’

President Trump got admitted to the hospital on October 2 evening local time following his positive diagnosis of the novel coronavirus.

The USA President’s admission to hospital came just hours after his positive diagnosis of the novel coronavirus.

Trump himself on October 2 local time announced on Twitter that he and his wife Melania Trump had tested positive for the virus. The President and First Lady would start quarantining and other health protocols immediately, added the post.

President Donald Trump is 74 years old while his wife Melania 50. The first lady has light symptoms and taking treatment staying at the White House.

President Trump’s diagnosis of the novel coronavirus comes just exactly one month before the presidential election scheduled to be held on this November 3, throwing the presidential election into a bit of uncertainty as expressed privately by Trump’s white house advisers.

On the heels of President Trump and first lady Melania Trump’s diagnosis of the covid-19, at least eleven officials from both Trump administration and the government have got infected by the virus.

For that, President Trump’s Rose Garden event, held on September 26, announcing the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court are being blamed mainly, though the fact behind may surely be different given mysterious nature of the virus

The latest figures affected by the virus with the trump administration are White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany and her two deputies, Chad Gilmartin and Karoline Leavitt, reports CNN citing two sources.

Earlier, those who got caught by the virus so far from the administration and the government include Hope Hicks, one of Trump’s closest aides; Nicholas Luna, one of the White House aides who works the closest to Trump; Republican Senators Mike Lee of Utah and Thom Tillis of North Carolina, both on Senate Judiciary Committee; Wisconsin Republican Senator. Ron Johnson; RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee; Trump’s Campaign manager Bill Stephen and Chris Christie, former New Jersey governor.

Meantime, democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his wife Jill have tested negative for the virus.

They have gone through testing as they were potentially exposed to the risk of the virus at the first presidential debate held on September 29 in Ohio.

On the other hand, the novel coronavirus has infected at least 35.2 million people globally, according to the Coronavirus Resource Centre at Johns Hopkins University.

The United States has the highest number of cases in the world with more than 7.4m infections, followed by India with 6.6m and Brazil with 4.9m infections.

According to the university, more than 1.03m people have died of the virus so far.

At the same time, the number of people recovered from the illness worldwide has reached 26.6m, according to Reuters.
