The winners of the Oscar 2023 are announced on March 12 at a ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. As per the announcements, the winners in all categories are listed below :

Best Actor In Leading Role : Brendan Fraser For ‘The Whale’.

Best Actress in Leading Role : Michelle Yeoh for ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.

To note, Michelle Yeoh is the first Asian Woman ever to win Best Actress awards in the Oscar.

Best Writing (Original Screenplay) : ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once.’

Best Director (Directing) : Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert for ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once.’

Best Film Editing : Paul Rogers for ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once.’

Best Actor In Supporting Role : Ke Huy Quan for ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.

Best Actress In Supporting Roles : Jamie Lee Curtis for ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.

Best International Feature Film :  ‘All Quiet on the Western Front,’ Germany” has won best international feature film.

Best Animated Feature Film : ‘Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio’

Best Animated Short Film : ‘The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse’.

Best Live Action Short Film : ‘An Irish Goodbye’.

Best Cinematography : ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’

Best Production Design : ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’.

Best Original Song : ‘Naatu Naatu’ from Bollywood Movie ‘RRR’.

Best Adapted Screenplay : Sarah Polley’s ‘Women Talking’.

Best Sound :  ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ won the Academy Award for best sound.

Best Makeup and Hairstyling : ‘The Whale’.

Best Visual Effects :  ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’.

Best Costume Design : ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

Best Documentary (Feature) : Navalny.

Best Documentary (Short Subject) : The Elephant Whisperers.

Best Music (Original Score) :  ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, Volker Bertelmann.

Notably, ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert dominated the 95th Academy Awards with the picture taking home seven (7) awards including Best Actress, Best Directing, Best Supporting Actor and Actress. The 95th Academy Awards ceremony was organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The movie ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ directed by Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan (known as Daniels) won Oscar 2023 in the Best Picture Category.

Brendan James Fraser (54) won Oscar 2023 in the ‘Best Actor in a Lead Role’ category for acting in the film ‘The Whale’.

Fraser is a Canadian and American actor known for his leading roles in blockbusters, comedies, and dramatic films. He has received several awards including an Academy Award (2023), a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Critics’ Choice Movie Award, a Golden Globe Award and a nomination for a BAFTA Award.

Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng PSM (60) won the Oscar 2023 in the ‘Best Actress in a Lead Role’ category for acting in the picture ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.

According to Wikipedia, Yeoh is a Swiss-based Malaysian actress. Credited as Michelle Khan in her early films in Hong Kong, she rose to fame in the 1990s after starring in a series of Hong Kong action films where she performed her own stunts, such as Yes, Madam (1985) with Cynthia Rothrock, Police Story 3: Supercop (1992) with Jackie Chan, and Holy Weapon (1993).

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert won Oscars 2023 in the ‘Best Directing’ category for their role in picture ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once.’

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, known collectively as the Daniels, are American film directors, producers and screenwriters. They began their career as directors of music videos, including the popular DJ Snake and Lil Jon music video for the single “Turn Down for What”.
