Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) on December 24 held a discussion on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as part of his Birth Centenary celebration. Held at the university’s Banani Campus, the programme’ chief guest was National Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Chairman, Nazrul Research Institute.

NUB Trust Chairman Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah was present as a guest of honor while University’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain chaired the event.
At the event, special guests were university’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Professor Dr. Anwarul Karim, Executive Director, Bangabandhu Research Center, NUB, DU Associate Prof. Samia Rahman and poet & singer Kazi Mahmudur Rahman in addition to faculties, staff and students.
