Applications are invited for ‘MPhil Leading to PhD Program’ for year 2021-22 at Muktijuddho Bangabandhu & Bangladesh Gobeshona Institute under National University. Online application gets underway from August 1 and will continue till 31 of the month.

Eligibilities : Aspirants need to meet the following conditions to be eligible for application :

1. GPA minimum 2.50 or 45 percent marks (in case of traditional or old system) in both SSC and HSC or their equivalent examinations. Besides, have to have GPA minimum 2.75 or 55 percent marks (applicable for old system) in both Graduation (pass)/Graduation (honors) and Post-graduation examinations.
2. Age of prospective fellowship recipients should not exceed 45 years as on August 31, 2021 and they need to be on full-term leave during program tenure.
3. They need to upload a Research Proposal with online application form on their subject of research by following existing research design. Authorities will take a viva exam of the applicants on the research proposal.
4. Selected individuals will receive a specific amount of fellowship based on merit and other set qualities.

Application Process : Interested individuals first need to fill up online application form which is available at the following website :
www.nu.ac.bd/admissions.

Then they need to pay initial application fee of Tk. 1000 through National University Online Payment Gateway or Pay-Slip. Subsequently meaning upon deposit of application fee, they will need to download initial application form and print it. To note, one must fill up initial application form to get their name of the merit list.

Important Dates : Along the process of application, applicants need to maintain the following dates :

Initial Application Form Fill-up : It begins from 4 p.m. August 1 and ends at 12 p.m. August 31, 2021.

Application Fee Submission : Applicants will be allowed to submit application fee from August 3 til September 2, 2021.

Application Form Print : Applicants can print their application forms from August 3 till September 2, 2021.

Written & Viva/Viva Test Date : These tests are likely to be held from September 5 to 7, 2021.

Publication of Merit List : September 9, 2021.

Prospective Date of Class Commencement : September 20, 2021.
