A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Northern University Bangladesh (NUB), one of the leading private universities in the country, and UNICEF has been signed on November 24 at the university’s Corporate office. On the occasion, Country Representative of the UN’s child agency Mr. Tomoo Hozuml visited the campus and partook the ceremony.
On behalf of NUB, Chairman Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Pro Vice-Chancellor (D) Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ekramol Islam, Registrar Prof. Dr. Kazi Shahdat Kabir; Professor & Dean, Faculty of Law Mr. Abu Zayed Mohammad were present at the ceremony among others. And for UNICEF, Chief of Child Protection Natalie McCauley and Child Protection specialist Shabnaaz Zahereen were also in attendance.

Under the MoU, Northern University Bangladesh and UNICEF will together get involved in various activities time to time that will hopefully bring opportunities and open doors to multiple possibilities for both institutions. Both the sides have expressed their contentment on signing the understanding.
