BBA admission circular of Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka for academic session 2020-2021 has begun from April 9. The deadline to apply is May 10, 2021.
Application Eligibility : Aspiring students need to demonstrate the following requirements to be eligible for application for BBA 29th Batch Admission Test :
For SSC Or HSC Level Aspirants : Students who have fulfilled the stipulated requirements for making applications in different units of DU, and have passed SSC or equivalent exams during the period of 2015-2018 and HSC or its equivalent exams in 2020 are eligible to apply for admission into the session.
Besides, they must have minimum GPA 7.5 in SSC and HSC results combined with 4th subject. But they must hold at least GPA 3.5 in both the exams to be eligible for application.
For IGCSE/O-Level & IAL/GCE A-Level or Equivalent level Students : Students who have passed IGCSE/O-Level exam with at least 5 subjects including mathematics during 2015-2018 and IAL/GCE O-Level exams with at least 2 subjects (final result of at least one subject must have been published in 2020) are eligible for application.
And out of the seven subjects in IGCSE/O-Level and IAL/GCE A-Level, candidates should achieved minimum 4 ‘B’ grades and 3 ‘C’ grades. Among the best five grades of O-Level and best two grades of A-Level, no ‘D’ grade will be accepted.
Urgent Note : Those who has done registration already for admission into any units of DU—Ka, Kha, Ga, Gha or Cha—can make application directly for ‘IBA Unit’ admission. For that, they just need to do login with their username & passwords, pay application fee of Tk. 1000 and make application. The others need to apply following usual rules.
Attention : 1. If any student had appeared for any admission test of DU including IBA in 2019 or before, he or she will not be eligible to apply for this year’s admission test.
2 : Candidates from O-Level, A-Level and from other boards outside the country have to obtain ‘Equivalent Certificate’ from IBA before making application. For the certificate, relevant students need to visit the DU admission website at https://admission.eis.du.ac.bd
Those who have already received their ‘Equivalent Certificate’ while applying for other units of DU, need not apply for the certificate anew.
For Foreign Candidates : Candidates of other nationality with a score of at least 1265 out of 1600 in SAT Reasoning Test (with at least 600 in Math and 575 in Reading & Writing) may get exemption from Written Assessment Test but they must appear for Communication Test.

Application Period : Online application for IBA BBA 29th Batch Admission Test has begun from 3:00 p.m. April 9. The last date to apply is 12 a.m. May 10, 2021.
Application Fee : The fee for application is Tk.1000 with online processing fees and bank service charge. The period for fee submission is the same as that of application submission.
Admit Card Download Time : Applicants will be able to download their admission test admit cards from 12 p.m. May 23 to 12 a.m. May 28.
Admission Test Date : IBA BBA Admission Test for the academic Year 2020-2021 is scheduled to be held on June 4, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. It should be noted that the test will be held only in Dhaka city with strict health protocols due to the pandemic.

Selection Process : All Bangladeshi applicants must take the admission test. The test has two components: written and communication. The Written Test assesses the applicants’ aptitudes in : Language Mathematics, and
To qualify in the Written Test, an applicant must obtain a minimum qualifying score in each of the above areas. Applicants will be selected for the Communication Test on the basis of their performance in the Written Test. The final selection for admission will be based on the scores obtained by an applicant in the Written Test and the Communication Test.
Final Selection & Registration : The final selection for admission will be based on scores obtained by an applicant in the Written Test and the Communication Test. Selected candidates should obtain the prescribed University admission form from the BBA Program Office and submit the completed form along with four passport-size and one stamp-size photograph and other documents as outlined in the form within the stipulated time to the BBA Program Office. Candidates who have completed the above formalities will then pay the requisite fees as determined by IBA.
