Sometimes majority of us struggle to make better decisions on any matter or out of a particular situation. It might be natural. But there are ways or tricks to make better decisions.

A new study, published very recently in Harvard Business Review, has put forward a simple trick for anyone to make smarter and wiser decisions.

Thinking what the trick is or how to make decision using it?

According to the findings, that trick is to just think that you are making a decision for someone, not for yourself. Th authors have described the technique as fly-on- the-wall perspective.

The researchers claimed that by following the trick, one can make better decisions, irrespective of the subject. The study is done involving over 1000 people who are asked to choose from among a set of things for someone else. Thus they ended up finding the results.

Besides, the scientists concerned also suggested yet another tip to make better decisions out of any situation. That is just be your own advisor and refer to yourself in third-person.

That means instead of asking yourself ‘what should I do?’, rather ask self ‘what should you do?
