Application and nominations are underway for the Global Teacher Prize 2021 with the last date being April 30 this year.
Individuals applying for the Global Teacher Prize will be assessed on teaching practices, how they innovate to address local challenges, achieve demonstrable learning outcomes, impact the community beyond the classroom, help children become global citizens, improve the teaching profession and gain recognition from external bodies.

Price Of The Awards : Global Teacher Prize is an award worth US$1 million and given by the London based charity Varkey Foundation in partnership with UNESCO.
Last year, the Global Teacher Prize winner was Indian village teacher Ranjitsinh Disale who teaches at the Zilla Parishad Primary School in the state of Maharashtra.
