Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) organized ‘Freshers’ Reception & Falgun Utshob-2020’ on February 22 at its Permanent Campus at Ashkona, Uttara in the capital city Dhaka.
NUB Trust Chairman Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah was present as Chief Guest while Md. Mahbubur Rahaman, Secretary, Bangladesh Technical Education Board was the Guest of Honor.
Mr. Anisur Rahman Nayeem, Councilor, Ward 49, Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Professor Engineer Md. Humaun Kabir, Pro Vice Chancellor (D), NUB and Professor Dr. Md. Ekramul Islam, Treasurer, NUB attended the event as Special Guests. Vice –Chacellor of the univesity Professor Anwar Hossain presided over the program.

Addressing the freshers, Chief Guest Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah said, ‘You have to enhance knowledge in Information Technology era in order to develop selves as skilled person and must be involved in the service of the nation.’
Secretary to the Bangladesh Technical Education Board Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rahaman in his speech said ‘it doesn’t matter which university you are studying in and what your subject is. It is a matter of watching what you are learning and what you are giving to the nation.’
Deans, faculties, students, guardians, freshers and other guest enjoyed the program followed by a cultural program.
