Department of Social Services (DSS) issues a circular to recruit individuals to 11 posts to implement ‘Rohingya Child Protection Programmes run by financial & technical assistance from UNICEF Bangladesh. The last date to make application is this July 1, 2021.

Vacancy In Numbers : The positions to which recruitment will be made on temporary or project period basis are the followings : 1. Senior Programme Manager (Child Protection) 2. Case Management Expert 3. Cash Assistance Expert 4. Manager (Monitoring & Evolution) 5. Finance & Admin Manager 6. Training Officer 7. Monitoring & Documentation Officer 8. MIS & IT Officer 9. Admin Officer 10. Account Assistant 11. Data Entry Operator.

To note, each position carry just one vacant post. But one person can apply for more than one position depending on eligibility. The last time to submit application is 5 p.m. July 1, 2021.

Requirements : Aspirants need to demonstrate the following qualities to be eligible for application against their preferred post :

Senior Programme Manager (Child Protection) Post : Having Master’s degree in Social Works, Sociology, Anthropology or any other subjects under Social Science Faculty Or International Relations, Law from any recognized university. Besides, having min 8 years of experiences in implementation of Child Protection, Child Rights Protection or Social Security Programmes. And age limit is not over 55 as on June 30, 2021.

Case Management Expert Post : Having Master’s degree in Social Works, Social Welfare, Psychology, Sociology, or any other subjects under Social Science Faculty Or International Relations, Law from any recognized university. But preferences will be extended to those with min 5 years of experiences in implementation of Case Management including Child Rights Protection Programmes. And age limit is not over 50 as on June 30, 2021.

Cash Assistance Expert Post : Having Master’s degree in Social Works, Social Welfare, Sociology, Economics, Anthropology, or any other subjects under Social Science Faculty from any recognized university. But preferences will be extended to those with min 5 years of experiences in implementation of Social Security, Cash Fund Assistance and Child Protection Programmes. And age limit is not over 50 as on June 30, 2021.

For Manager (Monitoring & Evaluation) Post : Having Master’s degree in Social Works, Social Welfare, Sociology, Economics, Anthropology, Journalism or any other subjects under Social Science and Business Administration Faculties from any recognized university. But preferences will be extended to those with min 5 years of experiences in implementation of monitoring and evaluation of programmes or projects.

For Data Entry Operator Post : Having second class IT or Communication Technology Diploma Or Second class graduation or equivalent degree. Plus being eloquent in database software, office management software, database usages and data entry among others. But preferences will be given to those with two years of experiences in related field. And age limit is not over 32 as on June 30, 2021.

Finance & Admin Manager Post : Having Master’s degree in any subjects under Faculty of Business Administration, Public Administration and any subjects under Social Science Faculty from any recognized university. But preferences will be extended to those with min 5 years of experiences in management of financial and administrative jobs of any schemes, programmes or projects. And age limit is not over 50 as on June 30, 2021.

For Admin Officer Post : Having graduation degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, International Relations, Sociology, Public Administration or any subjects under Faculty of Social Science from any recognized university. But preferences will be extended to those with min 3 years of experiences in Administrative Management jobs and those with having experiences in MIS and GIS areas. And age limit is not over 40 as on June 30, 2021.

For Account Assistant Post : Having second class graduation or post-graduation or equivalent degree in Business or Accounts Group. But preferences will be extended to those with minimum 2 years of experiences as Accounts Assistant or Accounting Clark. And age limit is not over 35 as on June 30, 2021.

Required Papers : With applications, the following papers need to be submitted :

1. Applicants’ CV 2. Passport Size color photograph 3. Copy of National ID Card. 4. Latest Educational Certificate. 5. Certificates of experiences if required.
   

Written & Viva Exams : Only primarily selected candidates will be required to appear in Written and Viva exams. The dates of exams will be notified by email and mobile SMS.
