Dhaka City College Professional Masters Admission 2023-24 : Application Dec 13 To Jan 9

Dhaka City College Professional Masters course admission circular for academic year 2021-22 is now open with application period December 13 to January 9, 2024. 

Currently, the college offers two professional masters programs : MBA & MSc In Computer Science & Engineering (MCSE).

Dhaka City College Professional Masters Admission Requirements :

Aspiring students need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :

MBA Program :  Four year-long Professional BBA (Honors)/Business Administration (Honors) degree with minimum 45% marks or CGPA 2.25, obtained in between 2018 till 2021. 

MSc In Computer Science & Engineering (MCSE) Program : Four year-long BSc in Computer Science & Engineering (Honors) degree with minimum 45% marks or CGPA 2.25, obtained in between 2018 till 2021 from National University.

Dhaka City College Professional Masters Admission Process :

Interested students first need to fill up initial application form available on the following website of the National University :

Then they will require to print out the form and submit it to the college along with all required documents mentioned in the circular available below. 

Application Fee :

The fee for application for Professional masters program is Tk.300. Notably, the last date to submit the application form along with all necessary papers is January 10, 2024.

What Subjects Are Available for Bachelor Honors Study At Dhaka City College? 

Finally selected students will be able to do Bachelor degree in the following subjects at Dhaka City College:

Bangla, English, Economics, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance & Banking.

To note, the classes of Bachelor Honors are scheduled to begin from June 1, 2023. 

Dhaka City College Bachelor (Honors) Admission Process :

Interested students first need to apply through the following website :

http://www.nu.ac.bd/admissions

In fact, applicants first need to click ‘Apply Now’ (Honors) option under Honors Tab at the above link. 

Then they will fill up the online application form there with both SSC and HSC or their equivalent exams’ roll numbers, registration number, Education Board name/University, Passing year and a registered mobile phone number.

Besides, they need to upload scanned passport size fresh color photograph.

Subsequently, they will require to submit the filled up forms by clicking ‘Submit Application’ button, download it and have a print copy of it.

At the final stage of the application process, they will need to submit the printed application forms along with attested photocopies of SSC & HSC or their equipment exams’ mark sheets and TK.250 in primary application fee to the college (Dhaka City College).

The time to submit printed application form is from 9 am to 5 pm (and During Ramadan, the timing is 9 to 3:30 pm) over the period of April 6 to May 9, 2023 (except holidays).

Dhaka City College Bachelor Admission Requirements :

Admission seekers need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application:

1. For Humanities group students, GPA needs to be minimum 3.0 in SSC or equivalent exam passed in 2019/2020 and GPA at least 3.0 with fourth subject in HSC or equivalent exam passed in 2021/2022. However, the combination of GPA involving both the exams must be at least 6.5. 
2. For Science and Commerce group students, GPA minimum 3.0 in SSC or equivalent exam passed in 2019/2020 and GPA at least 3.0 with fourth subject in HSC or equivalent exam passed in 2021/2022. However, the combination of GPA involving both SSC & HSC must be at least 7.0.  
3. Students will get their admission eligible subject for bachelor honors study only from the subjects they read in HSC or equivalent level study. They need to score minimum GPA 3.0 in the eligible subject (HSC or equivalent) for bachelor level study.
