Dental Admission Test Result Reassessment Method

Candidates can have their Dental (BDS Course) Admission Test Result reassessed in a method set by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The fee for the result reassessment is Tk.1000 for academic year 2020-2021.

The first year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course admission test result has been published on September 12. Earlier on September 10, the test was held.

Initially, some 545 examinees have been selected for admission into one Government Dental College and another eight (8) Medical College Dental Units in the country.

Examinees who turned out to be unsuccessful or unhappy with their result can apply for reassessment over the period of September 16 to 21.

Method For Result Reassessment :

First, students need to forward an SMS by any Teletalk prepaid mobile number following a set method which is provided below :

1st SMS : DGHS space RSC space Roll No. Then send it to 16222.

In the reply, applicants will get a PIN Number which they need to use for fee payment through second SMS. They need to forward the second SMS this way :

2nd SMS : DGHS space RSC space YES space PIN. Then send it to 16222. Done! (In the reply, applicants will get a payment confirmation message).

In a course of time, applicants will receive notification from the authority on the outcome of the dental result reassessment request. In this case, the opinion of the authority will be final.

Paper Required For Admission : Successful candidates will have to submit the following documents, among others, at the time of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Course admission :

  1. Academic Transcripts of SSC and HSC or their equivalent examinations.
  2. Certificates or Testimonials of SSC and HSC or their equal exams.
  3. Four attested copies of fresh color passport size photograph.
  4. Necessary papers issued from the due authority in support of relevant quota or other claims.
