CKRUET Admission Requirements 2024 :
Aspirants need to have the following qualities to be eligible for initial application :
- Have to be Bangladeshi Citizens.
- SSC or equivalent exam passing year in 2020 or 2021 with GPA minimum 4.0 under any secondary & higher secondary education board (general)/Madrasa Education Board/Technical Education Board.
- HSC or equivalent exam passing year in 2023. And those from English Medium background, they have to have GCE ‘A’ Level certificate obtained in November 2022 or later.
- Total Grade point involving Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics must be minimum 14 in HSC or equivalent exam. Besides, total grade point involving Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English must be minimum 18 points including Grade point at least 3.5 in English subject.
- For Admission into Biomedical Engineering Department, GPA minimum 4.0 in Biology in HSC or equivalent exam.
- For English medium students, ‘A’ Grade each in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics at GCE O-Level while at A-Level exam, they must have ‘A’ Grade in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics each. For admission into Biomedical Engineering Department, they must have minimum ‘B’ Grade in Biology at ‘A-Level.

Requirements For GCE ‘O’ & ‘A’ level Students :
- ‘A’ Grade each in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in GCE ‘O’ level exam.
- ‘A’ Grade each in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in GCE ‘A’ level exam.
- For admission into Biomedical Engineering Department, at least ‘B’ Grade in Biology in GCE ‘A’ level exam.
- Receipt of ‘A’ level certificate must in November 2022 or later.

As per the circular, first year student admission process of the three engineering university—Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology and Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology—– will have two steps.
Firstly, aspiring students meeting the requirements will be allowed to apply initially. Then out of all applicants, the authority will select a total of 30 thousand students (30,000) for admission test based on total marks they obtained in these four subjects–Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English—-at HSC/A-Level or equivalent exam.

CKRUET Application Period :
As per the circular, online application process gets underway from 9 am January 24. The last date and time to apply is 11:59 pm (night) on February 7, 2024.
CKRUET Application Fee :
For ‘Ka’ Group, the application fee is Tk. 1350 while for ‘Kha’ Group, it is Tk.1450 with service charge. Here note that the last time to pay the fee is 11:59 pm February 8.
CUET KUET RUET Admission Eligible List :
The authority will publish a list of students eligible for the written test at 10 am on February 18.
Written Test Admit Card Download :
Eligible candidates for the written test will be able to download their admit cards from 10 am February 19, 2024 . It will continue till 9 am up to the exam date.
CKRUET Admission Test Date 2024 :
As per the circular, CKRUET combined admission test will take place on March 3, 2024. The test of ‘Ka’ group will last from 10 to 12:30 while for ‘Kha’ group the test time is from 10 to 1:45 on the same day.
Notably, ‘Ka’ Group consists of all Engineering Departments and Department of Urban & Regional Planning (URP) while ‘Kha’ Group involves all Engineering, URP and Architecture Departments.
CKRUET Combined Admission Teat Method :
Admission test will be held in two groups— Ka and Kha. The test will be taken on MCQ type questions involving Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (both ‘Ka & kha’ Group) and Freehand Drawing Exam for Architecture Department in ‘Kha’ Group.
Admission Test will have 500 marks for ‘Ka’ Group while that for ‘Kha’ group is 700. To note, there will be negative marking of 25 percent from the allocated marks for every MCQ question.

How Many Seats Are There In RUET CUET KUET?
There are 3,231 seats in total available in the three engineering university–CUTE KUTE & RUET. Of the seats, CUET has 931 seats, KUET 1,065 and RUET has 1,235 seats. Notably, there are total 21 reserved seats in the three university—11 at CUET and 5 each at RUET & KUET.
