The USA has recorded 71,695 new cases of Covid-19 on July 22 local time, according to Johns Hopkins University’s tally. The day also saw 1,195 new fatalities over the period, the second day in a row with more than 1k deaths in two weeks period since the pandemic began in the country.
In total, there are now at least 3,970,906 confirmed cases with at least 143,190 deaths in the US. The totals include cases from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and other U.S. territories, as well as repatriated cases.
