The novel coronavirus, officially known as Covid-19 and originated in Wuhan, China, continues its killer impacts as the death toll from the virus globally reaches at 60,000 on April 4. According to Johns Hopkins University, USA, the virus has now infected almost 1.1 million people across the world with the highest number of cases being in the USA.
Of the total global cases, there are now more than 2,77,000 cases in the USA alone and over 7,100 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University’s tally of cases. On Friday alone, at least 32,615 new cases and 1,158 deaths have been reported.

The total in the USA includes cases from all 50 states, Washington, DC, and other US territories, as well as all repatriated cases.
Deaths from the virus reported from all USA states except only Wyoming which not reporting any deaths yet.
Among the deaths in the USA, more than 2,935 are recorded in New York state alone, State Governor Andrew Cuomo revealed this information to the press on April 3 at a regular corona press briefing. Source : CNN
