The number of deaths from the novel coronavirus in the USA has reached unfortunately a new milestone as the country has now at least 63,006 fatalities. There are now at least 1,069,664 cases of infections, according to Johns Hopkins University.
As per the university, the country has recorded at least 29,515 new cases and 2,040 deaths on April 30 alone. The totals include cases from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and other US territories, as well as repatriated cases.

Globally the covid-19 disease has infected more than 32lakhs people including at least 233,000 deaths.
