Doctors in Italy has also bore the brunt of the novel coronavirus as at least 150 doctors died in the country from the virus. The Italian Association of Doctors said this in a statement on April 24.
As per the statement, individuals related to healthcare account for about 10% of all infections in the country.
Meantime, the government has announced a measure worth 25 billion euros ($27 billion) to improve healthcare system in the country. The initiative got the final approval on the same day. But several health care bodies have expressed criticism of the measure as not being good enough.
