Conjoined Twins Born with 2 Heads, 3 Hands!

A rare conjoined twins were born in Indian state of Odisha with two heads and three hands! A woman gave birth to the twin daughters at a hospital on April 11, 2021, reports NDTV Online.

The report said, the twins were born at a private hospital in the Kendrapara district in the state. The babies were later shifted to Shishu Bhawan in Cuttack for further treatment.

Of the twins, Dr. Debashis Sahoo, a paediatrician at the hospital said, ‘there are very rare chances of such children surviving and leading a normal life. The conjoined twins are a rare congenital anomaly and are joined at the chest and abdomen. This happens when the fetus in the womb of a woman does not develop properly. This condition occurs in one in a million.’
