Cadet college student admission process 2022 into Bangladesh’s 12 cadet colleges has begun from December 3. The deadline to apply is January 15, 2022.

Written Test Results :

Oral Test & Health Checkup :

The oral test and health checkup of the successful candidates out of the written test will take place from March 20 to 30. The tests will be held at 25 E-Bengal, Dhaka Cantonment.

Urgent Note : During viva exam, parents meaning both father & mother or guardians of candidates must accompany them to the venue.

As per the circular, online application process has started from 8 am December 3. The last date and time to apply was 5 pm January 15, 2022.

Written Test On January 28 :

According to the circular, the first stage of cadet admission process— 300 marks Written Test—-was taken place on January 28, 2022.

The result of the admission test is expected to be out in the first week of March, 2022. It will be available at this website (www.cadetcollege.army.mil.bd) and on the notice boards of the cadet colleges.

The admission test (Written Exam) usually takes place in the second week of January every academic year.

However, due to the Covid-19 situation, students took the written test for academic year 2021 on January 29.

Cadet College admission test (Written Test) usually takes place in both Bengali and English versions. But a student can take the exam in just one version—English or Bangla. It’s up to the choice of the candidates.

Application Fee :

This year the fee for application is Tk.1600 only, compared to Tk.1500 last year’s.

Application From E-booth Outlets :

For own advantages, students can submit application from ‘E-booth Outlets’ also, available at every cadet college and Dhaka Army Stadium.

From any ‘E-booth Outlets’, students can apply for any exam center mentioned in the circular. Not only that, from the booths, they can deposit application fee as well.

All the ‘E-booth Outlets’ remain open every day except for Fridays and government holidays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. over the period.

Application Eligibility :

Interested students usually need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for application :

  1. Being a citizen of Bangladesh.
  2. Age maximum 13 years 6 months as of January 1, 2022.
  3. Height at least 4 feet 8 inches, applicable to both boys & girls.
  4. Grade 6 or its equivalent examination pass.
  5. Being normal and natural in terms of physical and mental health.

Admit card collection :

Students will not be able to print out or download their admit cards from January 16 till the day ahead of the test date (January 28, 2022).

For that, students need to login the relevant site ( https://www.cadetcollege.army.mil.bd or https://cadetcollegeadmission.army.mil.bd) with the username and password that they used for application.

Urgent Note : In case of non-receipt or failure to downloading admit cards after January 16 onwards, students can contact any ‘E-booth Outlet’ authority of cadet college.

Application Fee Payments : 

Applicants can submit the fee through any of the following means—— bKash, Trust Bank, SSL Commerz (all kinds of Credit/Debit/Wallet), Nagad and DBBL (Rocket, Nexus Pay and DBBL Payment).

To note, applicants first have to pay the fee to get the username and password using which they will need to finish application within a specified time displayed on the screen of computer or other devices.

Quota : To avail any quota benefits such as freedom fighter, Indigenous and Defense quota, students will have to make application with supported papers through any ‘E-booth Outlet’ available at every cadet college and Dhaka Army Stadium.

Otherwise, applicants will not be able to enjoy these benefits.

Special Instructions : Students and their guardians should maintain the following instructions for their own interest :

  1. First read the circular properly and carefully before filling up the application form.
  2. Students or their guardians have to post all required papers to the cadet college responsible for the exam center mentioned on the applicant’s admit card within January 24, 2022.

Preservation of Password and Username : 

Applicants have to preserve their usernames and passwords they used to make applications as they will require those to print or download their admit cards and change any information if needed later. So you must preserve them.

Necessary Papers to be Submitted :

Applicants have to submit the following papers, among others, when it comes to cadet college admission 2022 :


1. Attested mark sheet of Primary School Certificate (PSC) or Ebtedayee Examination. In case of English Medium, 5th grade or equivalent exam pass certificate from Headmaster or Headmistress of the institution.
2. Attested photocopy of Birth Certificate or Birth Registration.
3. Mark sheet of 6th grade or its equivalent examination.
4. Monthly Income certificate issued by due authority of Parents (father & mother or Guardian).
5. Attested photocopies of legal guardian or parents’ (both father & mother) National IDs, Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificates and their passports if available.

6. Four (4) copy each of passport and stamp size fresh color photograph, similar to those uploaded in online application form.

Here note that from January 16 onwards, applicants can download their admit cards which carry their Index Number and exam center (they mentioned in online application form).

By mentioning the index number & name of exam venue on 15 inch by 10 inch envelope, applicants have to send all required documents by Registered Post/Courier or Messenger to the related cadet college.

The last date to forward all papers is by January 24, 2022. In other words, applicants can start sending all necessary papers from January 16 after getting admit cards. And the deadline to do so is January 24, 2022.

Cadet Admission Test Method :

Cadet college admission test usually takes place in 3 phases. First phase is of written test which carries 300 marks in total including 100 marks each for Mathematics & English, 60 for Bangla and 40 marks for Science, BGS, ICT and General Knowledge.

Written exam is followed by two other phases—Viva & Medical or Health Check-Ups.

The last two phases are conducted only on the successful candidates from the written exam.  And the dates for Viva and Medical tests will be made available upon the time of written exam result publication.

N.B. The exam date may be reviewed given the then overall situation related to the corona pandemic in the country. Candidates, however, should not feel relaxed thinking of any possible exam date referral as proper preparation is the key to getting ultimate success in the exam which is quite different from other public exams.

Names of 12 Cadet Colleges In Bangladesh :

There are 12 cadet colleges in Bangladesh. Of them, 9 are for boys and the rest 3 for girls.

The 3 girls cadet colleges are Mymensingh Girls Cadet College (established in 1983), Feni Girls Cadet College (established in 2006) and Joypurhat Girls Cadet College (established in 2006).
