Below are the books suggested by one of the richest persons in the world, Bill Gates :

Educated by Tara Westover :

‘Educated’ is a memoir of the author Tara Westover. She never went to school or visited a doctor until she left home at 17. Bill Gates once said that he and his wife Melinda loved this memoir of a young woman whose thirst for learning was so strong that she ended up getting a PhD from Cambridge University.

Army of None by Paul Scharre :

Another book that Gates recommends us to read is ‘Army of None’. It’s about autonomous weapons and the future of war. Gates says it takes a thought-provoking look at artificial intelligence (AI) in warfare.

Bad Blood by John Carreyrou :

In the book, the author John Carreyrou gives an insider’s look at the rise and fall of Theranos.

According to Wikipedia, Theranos Inc. was an American privately held corporation that was touted as a breakthrough health technology company. Founded in 2003 by 19-year-old Elizabeth Holmes, Theranos raised more than US$700 million from venture capitalists and private investors, resulting in a $10 billion valuation at its peak in 2013 and 2014. The company claimed that it had devised blood tests that required very small amounts of blood and that could be performed rapidly and accurately, all using compact automated devices which the company had developed. However, the authority found these claims to be false.

This book offers a helpful framework for processing the news and thinking about the challenges all of us face.
