BCIC College Job Circular 2023 : 46 Teaching Posts, Preliminary Test Results

BCIC (Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation) opens a job circular to recruit teachers for the colleges under the factories of the corporation with preliminary test results out now. Earlier online application process lasted from June 5 to 29, 2023.

As per the latest job circular, the authority will recruit people for the following positions :

1. Lecturer (Bangla 4, English 4, Physics 2, Chemistry 2, Zoology 3, Mathematics 1, ICT 5, Statistics 1, Accounting 4, Management 2, Marketing 2, Finance 2, Economics 1, Political Science 1, Geography 2, Islamic Studies 1 and Philosophy 1, total 38) 2. Inspector (Physics 2, Chemistry 2, Biology 2 & ICT 1, totaling 7) and 3. Assistant Teacher (Physical Studies, 1 post).

BCIC Job Requirements :

Job aspirants need to fulfill the following condition, among others, to be eligible for application against their post of choice :

Lecturer Post :

First class post-graduation or second class post-graduation with second class (or equivalent CGPA) bachelor honors in related subjects.

However, for Lecturer (Computer) post, applicants must have post-graduation with bachelor honors in ICT or Computer Science. Or BSc In Computer Engineering degree.

Inspector Post :

Second class bachelor or equivalence in relevant subject from any recognized university. Notably, no third class/division or CGPA is acceptable at any level of education.

Assistant Teacher (Physical Studies) Post :

Having second class bachelor or equivalent degree and BPEd or equivalence from any recognized university. Notably, no third class/division or CGPA is acceptable at any level of education.

Age Requirements : 

Applicants’ age needs to be in between 18 to 30 years as on June 5, 2023, applicable to all general candidates. For son/daughters of Freedom Fighters or martyred Freedom Fighters and the disabled, the age limit is 32 years as on the same date. In case of proof of age, no affidavit will be acceptable.

Application Period :

As mentioned earlier, online application process begins from 12 noon June 5. And the last date and time to apply is 12 pm June 29, 2023.

Application Fee :

The fee for application (or exam fee) is Tk.600 which applicants need to pay by SMS through any Teletalk prepaid mobile number within 72 hours of application submission. Otherwise, the authority will treat your application invalid.

Job Requirements :

Job seekers need to meet the following requirements to be eligible for application : 

For General Manager (Operations) posts : Having BSc engineering in Chemicals with minimum 15 years of experiences Or Diploma Engineering in Chemicals with 20 years of experiences. Age needs to be not over 45 years but for high experienced candidates it can have relaxation up to 50 years. Or Post graduation degree in Chemistry with 15 years of experiences Or graduation in science with 20 years of experiences.

For Additional Chief Chemist post : Post-graduation degree in Chemistry with 12 years of experiences Or graduation in science with 17 years of experiences.

For Additional Chief Engineer (chemistry) : Having BSc engineering in Chemicals with minimum 12 years of experiences Or Diploma Engineering in Chemicals with 17 years of experiences.

For Deputy Chief Chemist post : Post-graduation degree in Chemistry with 8 years of experiences Or BSc degree with 12 years of experiences. And age needs to be maximum 37 years but relaxation up to 42 years for high caliber candidates.

For Deputy Chief Engineer (Chemistry) post : Having BSc engineering in Chemicals with minimum 8 years of experiences Or Diploma Engineering in Chemicals with 13 years of experiences. And age should be maximum 37 years but relaxation up to 40 years for high caliber candidates.

For Chemist post : Post-graduation degree in Chemistry with 5 years of experiences Or BSc degree with 10 years of experiences. And age must be maximum 32 years but relaxation up to 37 years for high caliber candidates.

For Executive Engineer (chemistry) : Having BSc engineering in Chemicals with minimum 5 years of experiences Or Diploma Engineering in Chemicals with 10 years of experiences. And age should be maximum 32 years but relaxation up to 37 years for high caliber candidates.
