Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) opens a job circular to fill up some 35 posts including Assistant Engineer, Accountants, Assistant Commercial Officer etc. Deadline to apply is February 9, 2024.
Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Job Circular Breakdowns :
As per the circular, the corporation will recruit professional in the following positions :
- Assistant Engineer (Electrical, Grade 9, 1 post) 2. Accounts Officer (Grade 9, 5 posts) 3. Deputy-Assistant Engineer (Electrical, Grade 11, 1 post) 4. Assistant Commercial Officer (Grade 11, 15 posts) 5. Assistant Training Officer (Grade 11, 5 posts) and 6. Accountants (Grade 13, 8 posts).
BPC Job Requirements :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : BSc Engineering degree, those with practical experiences will receive priorities in getting the job.
Accounts Officer : Second class (or equivalent CGPA) Master’s degree Or second class (or equivalent CGPA) bachelor degree with first class (or equivalent CGPA) in either SSC or HSC.
Deputy-Assistant Engineer (Electrical) :
Diploma in Electrical from any technical education institution under Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB).
Assistant Commercial Officer :
Second class (or equivalent CGPA) bachelor degree. However, those with tourism-related training or experiences will enjoy preference in landing the job.
Assistant Training Officer :
The same as what is for the post of Assistant Commercial Officer.
Accountants Posts :
Possession of minimum second class (or equivalent CGPA) bachelor degree. Those with accounting experiences will get preference in securing the position.
Notably, candidates from all districts are eligible to apply for all the above posts.
Age Requirements :
For all general applicants, minorities and grandson/granddaughters of freedom fighters, the age range must be in between 18 to 30 years as on December 1, 2023.
However, for son/daughter of freedom fighter or martyred freedom fighter and the disabled, the age must be in between 18 to 32 years. No affidavit is acceptable in proof of age.

For the posts under serial no.1 & 2, the fee is Tk.669, for posts under serial no.3 to 5, Tk.335 while for posts under serial no.6, it is Tk.223.

Successful candidates from written test will have to produce the following documents, among others, during viva exam :
- Original copies of all academic certificates, testimonials and NO-Objection Letter, applicable to job holders only.
- Attested photocopies of all academic certificates along with printed copy of filled-in online application form.
- Certificate issued from Union Parishad/Municipality/City Corporation in support of permanent resident of a district.
- Attested photocopies of NID or Birth Certificate.
- Character Certificate issued from first class gazette officer.
