Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) invites applications as it increases the number of vacancy by 14 posts to its earlier circular which had 41 posts. Online application process begins from 9 a.m. July 5, 2021. 

Urgent Note : Those who applied already for their preferred posts according to the earlier circular published on March 25, 2021 need not re-apply.

Name Of Posts with Corresponding Figures : Recruitment will be made in the following posts with the number of vacancy specified :

1. Personal Assistant (Grade 14, no. of post 1) 2. Data Entry Operator (Grade 16, no. of posts 2) 3. Office Assistant cum Computer Typist (Grade 16, no. of posts 5) and 4. Sample Collection Assistant (Grade 16, no. of posts 6). 

It should be noted that all the positions will be filled up on temporary basis.

Requirements : Aspirants need to demonstrate the following qualities to be eligible for application against their preferred posts :

For Personal Assistant Post : Having second class (or equivalent CGPA) Graduation or equivalent degree from any recognized university. Besides, have received training on computer from any recognized institute. Computer typing speed must be minimum 25 words in Bangla and 30 words in English per minute. And age should be over 30 years as on June 30, 2021.

For Data Entry Operator Post : Have passed HSC or equivalent level exam in Science Group from any known education board. Computer typing speed must be minimum 20 words per minute in both Bangla and English. And age should be over 30 years as on June 30, 2021.

For Office Assistant cum Computer Typist Post : Have passed HSC or equivalent level exam from any known education board. Computer typing speed must be minimum 20 words per minute in both Bangla and English. In addition, have received training on computer operation particularly in Word Processing, Fax conduction, email etc. And age should be over 30 years as on June 30, 2021.

For Sample Collection Assistant Post : Have passed HSC or equivalent level exam with second class or equivalent CGPA in Science Group from any known education board. In addition, have skills in computer operation. And age should be over 30 years as on June 30, 2021.

Application Time : Application process will be starting, as mentioned earlier, from 9 a.m. July 5 and will go on until 5 p.m. August 12, 2021.

Application Fee : The application fee is Tk.112 with service charge, which needs to be deposited by SMS through any Teletalk prepaid mobile number within 72 hours of application submission.

Papers Required During Viva Exam : Only successful candidates from the written exam will be called up for a viva session where they need to demonstrate the following papers or documents among others :

1. Attested copies of all academic certificates.
2. Attested copies of training certificate in support of computer knowledge.
3. Testimonial or Character certificate issued from first class gazetted Officer.
4. Original or attested copy of Nationality Certificate issued from Union Parshad Chairman/Municipality Mayor/Word Commissioner or Councilor in case of City Corporation in support of permanent address, native district and nationality.
5. Photocopy of admit card.
6. Copy of applicant’s application copy.
